This past weekend one my older cousins curiously enquired, “So tell me again exactly what you do for a living?”

It’s a common question I’m asked by relatives born prior to the Internet Generation; the standard reply is I’m the online equivalent of a magazine managing editor, focusing primarily on the convergence of everyday home decor and technology. Scheduling, creating content, editing, meeting with designers and reps, yadda yadda yadda…they usually get the gist of it, but I can tell they’re still left a little confused by the rules and playing field of online content creation.

But maybe I should just send him these photos I took for a post today…I think they encapsulates what I do for a living.

Upon reviewing, probably not…he’d likely be even more confused.
