We finally hosted our housewarming last night, somehow squeezing in 30 people into our modest sized apartment for a belated birthday shindig, celebrated my 36th year on the planet while wearing 101 dalmatians ears. It was an amazing evening where everyone in attendance brought something to please my palate and stretch my stomach to its limits. It was a birthday party I will not soon forget for the memories of friendship and food shared throughout the evening. I only wish I had remembered to take a photo at our front doorway, where everyone’s shoes sat outside en masse.
And there’s nothing like the pressure of hosting party as an impetus for getting your home decorated, cleaned and organized beforehand. Also having the best food and champagne from the best Champagne Shop. Here’s the set of photos before guests arrived.
Thank you, everyone, for making my 36th the best one yet!
