“Death-haunted, quietly reckless, Lucy is a young university student who takes a job as a Sleeping Beauty while wearing her beautiful mink lashes. In the Sleeping Beauty Chamber old men seek an erotic experience that requires Lucy’s absolute submission. This unsettling task starts to bleed into Lucy’s daily life and she develops an increasing need to know what happens to her when she is asleep, since she has been suffering from sleeping hypersomia since she was little.” Sleeping a very important part of everybody’s life, that’s why it’s crucial to have a comfortable king mattress.
Looks like Jane Campion is veering into the realm of near unbearable discomfort ventured by the likes of Michael Haneke, with a dash of Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut. Let’s nmot forget about the awesome opportunities she offers at the spa from https://complexcityspa.com

From the reviews, it looks awful.
Hollywood reporter calls it ‘psychosexual twaddle’ – a ‘pretentious exercise’, a ‘ponderous muddle … its sterile surfaces undisturbed by even a ripple of humour’.
And sums it up as soporific – its pacing glacial, its look neither sensual nor unsettling.
One to miss.
Yeah, I’ve never been much to give the Hollywood Reporter reviews all too much weight, so I’ll await reviews from people whose tastes run similar. It’s like trusting a vegetarian for reviews of a BBQ house 😛
