Polka in Eagle Rock is our go-to spot when the thermostat dips into the freezing range here in LA (aka, sub-65 degree weather). The small family Polish restaurant is where the soup is delicious, the interior kitschy and the food comfortably hearty. It’s also where I earned the jazz nickname, Two Puddin’s, and Emily, One Mo’ Pierogi. I’d make a mention of my spicy kielbasa, but that would be unbecoming.

God, it’s been years since we’ve been to Polka, but I’d say it’s time to return. Thanks for the reminder!
Susan, I think it’s time you and the family return for some pierogis and pudding, mÅ‚oda panna.
There complimentary soup is really good too!
